Newly launched in 2010 is BTA's line of UN-ICAO and DOT31FP Oxygen Generator Containers. Specifically designed to meet the stringent shipping requirements by Air from U.S. to International destinations, these containers are certified to meet the ICAO weight limitations as well as meet the HM-224B requirements of the D.O.T. BTA launches its line of DOT31FP lightweight containers. After extensive Laboratory Testing (By an Indpendent 3rd Party Laboratory), BTA has earned certification on both of these challenging test requirements contained in the D.O.T.'s HM224B ruling.
The HM224B requires the use of this SUPERBOX in transporting Oxygen Cylinders by air. The use of this SUPERBOX is mandatory within U.S. airspace commencing on October 1, 2009. Contact BTA for further details or click DG/Haz-Mat Section for information.

HM224B implementation has been EXTENDED! The D.O.T. issued an amendment published in the Federal Register last Friday, September 28,2007 delaying the 'Execution' of law requiring the use of a SUPERBOX in transporting Oxygen Cylinders by air. The new Law takes into effect 1 year later on October 1, 2008. Contact BTA for further details and information.

As of today, The FAA is requiring the use of ATA 300 Category I Containers for any shipments of Oxygen Cylinders by air.
BTA can help you fill this requirement easily. Simply select the Oxygen Bottles Category in the DG/Haz-Mat Section, and we can have containers delivered within a week or two to your door.
